You were born to sing!

Your voice deserves to be heard.

It isn’t meant to play small.

A powerful voice is about much more than how you sound. It’s about being secure in who you are and wholeheartedly offering your creativity to the world so that you can make a difference in people’s lives.

My dream for you is to understand the value of your own voice.

If you’re ready to express yourself with confidence, own your worth, step into your potential, and positively impact the people around you, then I can help.

Your singing voice is the physical and spiritual manifestation of your inner voice. I know what it feels like when thoughts of unworthiness run the show - when self-doubt stifles your creativity and withholds your gifts from the world. There is nothing more frustrating than knowing you are destined for more and not knowing how to get there.

That’s why these are not your normal voice lessons. These are life lessons - training for your inner voice as well as your outer one - so that you can embody freedom, ease and expansion while serving audiences to your highest capacity.

Fall in love with your voice and share it generously!

Lessons are designed to nurture your voice as a person first, artist second.

Give Your Vision a Voice

When you say your dreams out loud,

you’re one step closer to reaching them.

Your first lesson is 45 minutes and takes place on Zoom. We will sing, do a physical warm-up of stretching and breathing exercises, and discuss your vocal goals! The investment is $125 for a new student lesson.

You will learn the 5 Pillar Framework that leads to maximum vocal progress and increased confidence as both an artist and human:

  • Identity - Who you are and how your voice expresses your unique truth

  • Wellness - How a healthy mind, body and spirit help you to sing and feel your best

  • Growth - How you can make optimal progress without stagnation

  • Collaboration - How connection will move your dreams forward faster

  • Service - How to use your voice with purpose in order to make a positive impact

You will walk away with clarity on your vocal strengths, repertoire guidance to highlight your voice’s natural gifts, exercises to work through your vocal challenges, practice tips for warming-up effectively, suggestions for incorporating practice into your daily life, encouragement to help you reach your dreams, and so much more!

Who Am I?

I’m Gina Morgano, and I teach dedicated artists like you how to find your voice inside and out so that you can offer your highest creative contributions.

I know the ache of feeling unexpressed - when your voice desperately wants to communicate, but doesn’t quite know where to go, what to say, or how to trust itself.

And I also know the liberation of finally owning your voice - when you shine because of who you are and use your voice to serve rather than to prove.

My musical journey began as a toddler, but I didn’t truly find my voice until long after I had already graduated in vocal performance with honors from Northwestern University and San Francisco Conservatory of Music and performed at legendary venues such as Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center.

After navigating more than a decade of health challenges that hindered my voice, I learned that caring for myself as a person is vital to caring for myself as a singer, and that wellness of mind, body, spirit and song requires support. This is why my approach to vocal training is holistic, training the artist’s humanity first.

Through my work as a professional singer and music educator at the 92nd Street Y and the Professional Performing Arts High School in Manhattan, my work shows singers how to expand their artistry and live a creatively fulfilling life. Practicing your craft at the highest level is a combination of artistic training, lifestyle optimization, and a spirit of service.

My podcast The Practice Parlour and Facebook group Self-Care for Singers include conversations with artists from from the Metropolitan Opera, Broadway and more about the lifestyle and artistic practices that help them to thrive, onstage and off.

Ongoing personal development and cross-training the voice are essential for maximum expressive flexibility and freedom. I continue to study a variety of musical styles under the mentorship of Andrew Byrne, author of “The Singing Athlete,” recently completed Levels 1 and 2 of Estill Voice Training, and am a member of NATS and AGMA.

The greatest life lesson I have learned (and it is an ongoing process) is how to use my voice on purpose - how to confidently communicate your thoughts, feelings, ideas, and creative spirit with the people whom you are uniquely qualified to help. You deserve to experience that same vocal expression, agency and impact.

Dear singer, your voice matters.

It’s time to be heard.

Ready to sing your heart out?

Frequently Asked Questions

+ Will you be going back to in-person lessons?

As of now, all lessons are staying online for the forseeable future.

+ What do you mean by “feedback and encouragement between lessons?”

You are not paying per lesson, but rather to be a member of the studio. Your tuition investment includes support beyond the lesson hours included in your package. Whether you have a quick email question or want feedback on applying the work in your own practice, I am here for you.

+ Do you teach music theory, diction, acting, producing, etc.?

Yes! All knowledge and support that I can offer is incorporated into voice lessons, and resources are provided as needed. That said, lesson time is limited. If looking for a deep dive into a special topic, students may be advised to schedule extra sessions or to seek additional support in order to keep lessons focused on vocal growth. If you're ONLY interested in a special topic, please reach out, as I occasionally teach group classes or have availability to take on non-voice students.

+ What is your cancellation policy?

Students on the Training Track or Maintenance Track may request ONE makeup with at least 24 hours advance notice given. Additional makeups may be requested, but are not guaranteed. That said, if students know of conflicts before the semester begins, I am happy to work around them. The more notice I have, the more likely I will be able to make things up. No makeups are provided when lessons are cancelled within 24 hours for any reason. A full list of studio policies will be provided upon registration.
